We are excited to invite you to the 2nd WIRE Collegium session “ARTISTIC RESEARCH: A Range of Definitions and Concepts”, which will focus on gaining a deeper understanding of artistic research in each partner country. This workshop will be particularly valuable for the research coordinators and members of WIRE and FILMEU+ pilots, clusters and Centers of Excelence (CoE) Selection Committees.
Agenda:
I. School Presentations: State of Artistic Research (AR). Representatives from each school present the current situation of AR at their institutions.
Topics to be discussed:
- Defining Artistic Research (AR) in your context.
- Balance between theory and practice in AR projects.
- Expected outcomes of AR.
- AR project implementation models.
- Predominant themes in AR projects.
- Innovative potential of AR.
II. Presentation of Findings. Lies Van de Vijver (LUCA School of Arts) present their findings from the workshops held at each new partner school this spring;
III. Discussion and Q&A
