More than 70 researchers attended The Art of Discovery: Fostering Innovation and Community in Artistic Research, an online event held on 4 March 2024. The session focused on current discussions within the field of Artistic Research, including the relationship between creative practice and academic inquiry.
Participants reflected on the opportunities and challenges of working across disciplines, and on the need for frameworks that recognise the specific nature of artistic processes. The event also touched on the role of European collaboration in supporting knowledge exchange.
This session was part of the ongoing work of the FilmEU Alliance and the WIRE project, which continues to engage with Artistic Research across partner institutions.
