On 29 September 2025, the National Contact Point Department for EU Research Programmes (DKPK NCBR) in Poland, together with Czech, Portuguese, and Romanian NCPs, hosted the International Information Day “European Excellence Initiative (EEI): general conditions, practical information, project presentation”. The event took place online via MS Teams and gathered participants from across Europe interested in the Widening dimension of Horizon Europe.
WIRE was presented by its coordinator, Prof. Manuel José Damásio, who also leads the FilmEU European University Alliance. The session offered participants valuable insights into the project’s mission to strengthen research and innovation excellence within FilmEU through capacity building, international collaboration, and engagement with the cultural and creative sectors.
The Info Day provided an excellent opportunity for researchers, institutions, and professionals to exchange experiences and learn more about opportunities under the European Excellence Initiative.
